Bimini’s, the perfect pub, is back! Vancouver’s local live music scene is nothing without this historic venue that’s been around for 50 years in the heart of Kitsilano.
“The Bimini” opened in 1975 and quickly became the destination for live music, nightlife, and great spirits. It became Kitsilano’s community pub and a launching pad for countless local musicians, earning its legacy in the Vancouver music scene.
Last year, Harsh Sharma, owner of The Main on Main and Bombay Indian Restaurant Group, stepped in to restore the magic of Bimini’s after seeing its potential as a historic venue filled with charm and community spirit.
Inspired to Revitalize
With Sharma and his team at the helm, the mission became clear: revive the pub and rebrand it as “Bimini’s Since 1975” while enhancing every aspect of the experience.
They envisioned a place where guests can enjoy live music, sports, cozy fireplace dining, a street-facing café, and even pool tables—all in one welcoming venue.
Supporting the food experience is Sasha Pavlovic, while Kostas Nikolaou leads marketing and storytelling, tying the venue to its roots and future alike.
The Future of Bimini’s
The renewed Bimini’s offers an improved guest experience with a focus on entertainment, atmosphere, and community. New Saturday Live Music events create a welcoming space for all generations.
“We want people to feel like it’s still their Bimini’s—only better,” Sharma says.
